Why is it?

Why is it that the best intentions often turn awry? Today I had so many grand plans of getting things done. Instead, I just finally showered at 9 p.m. My baby boy is about to have two more teeth poke through and my 4 year old is going through a thaaaang. Need I say more? But why is it that this always seems to happen? So many things undone. But now I will go to bed so I can face another day of the best intentions gone awry most likely for the same reasons. At least I got a shower, right?
